This is just new evidence to support what has already been known. I would be surprised if this made the news considering it never made the news before.
Yes, Trump is a rapist and a pedophile and not just an acquaintance of Epstein.

That is exactly what I’ve thought about during his time there. So many disasters brought on by light regulation. The response has been far better than you would normally get. Unfortunately I think bureaucracy gets in the way a lot.
The response from the public should be MORE Democratic support and stronger regulations. But unfortunately usually the response is “not enough is done” and give less support with zero regard to how that will impact policy.
And I’m not advocating for him. I’m literally just trying to think of who could possibly win over enough moderates to beat Trump in swing states.
I’d take these people over Trump in a heartbeat. No question. But if we’re not going to get behind one of them right now, then we all need to start supporting Biden. And it sounds like that’s what we’re going to need to do.
Unless everybody gets behind Pete Buttigieg right fucking now, then there isn’t another choice but to go with Biden.
And I don’t say that as someone who loves Pete, but he’s the only person with name recognition, resume, and any kind of uniform positive feelings between progressives, moderates, and centrists to win.
Either that or pick Joe Manchin, say fuck off to climate change initiatives for the next 8 years, and go hard after centrists in swing states.
I can’t think of anyone else that would stand a chance from a strategy perspective.
The fact that anyone (let alone half the country) would pick a literal traitor who failed in every way possible as president over a guy that had a bad interview while sick, with a B+ resume is ridiculous. Just a week ago the right was accusing him of doing drugs because of how well his State of the Union went. We avoided a recession and we’re recouping from the pandemic better than any other country.
Hell, just look at the debate itself. Biden memorized 90 minutes (or 45 minutes) worth of facts and used them to back up every claim he had while Trump literally lied the entire time and took credit for everything Biden (or Obama) did.
Between all that and literally being the only thing that kept the Republicans from throwing the US into default with clever negotiations (seriously, the dude fucking manipulated McCarthy so bad he lost his job), the only thing crazy is that people pay so little attention to politics over the last 8 years that all they know is that he sounded weak during a debate.
I’ve seen USSC used like one other time and it was weird. It makes me think of USMC.
Both candidates lose to a generic 3rd candidate. That was true even before the debate. The problem is finding a generic 3rd candidate that people agree on.
Truth is, the only person I can think of with enough name recognition that might bring enough support from progressives, moderates, and centrists this late is maybe Pete Buttigieg. But I wouldn’t bet on it. Biden needs to use every moment from here until November to get in front of people to show that the debate was an outlier.

He’s always had it. But it was probably easier to manage it when he was younger.
Also, allegedly had a cold and probably got flustered after the first time he tripped on his words. And inexplicably kept trying to recite various metrics from memory.
Weird, my conscience is to vote against the corrupt, fascist, rapist with a grudge against America. After dealing with Trump’s presidency and the aftermath, I can’t even imagine not voting for Biden. And I’m in a red state, so my vote definitely doesn’t matter.
I’m totally fine with that as well. I’ve also heard that surgery requires a lot of verification and validation from psychologists. Medical professionals don’t just sign you up for life-altering procedures. In fact, if I as personally deciding, I’d say let medical professionals do their job.

One of Trump’s debates, Anderson Cooper kept grilling him on something he refused to answer about. At one point he declared that Trump is refusing to answer that question, explicitly. It was probably the best moderation I’ve ever seen.
Then in one of the primaries, one of the moderators called Pete Buttigieg a liar after he said their information was false and corrected them (he in fact was not lying). That was possibly the worst moderation I’ve ever seen.
At least in this one they would say “the question was…” when they didn’t actually answer.
The news is constantly trying to appear unbiased. And the only way to do that is by making both sides appear just as chaotic as each other.
That’s the only reason why the news talks about how dems are in a panic instead of going line by line and talking about every damn thing each candidate said. They can’t just go and say Trump lied 37 times and Biden really has accomplished everything he said he did. Because then they would be “biased”.
I’m actually well aware of that. It’s essentially a way to get rid of the electoral college for the popular vote without actually getting rid of the EC. And I’d love for it to be implemented in enough states to work.
However, I think RCV can still work. It’s just that the state allocated votes would need to first look at the state level race for president, determine a ranking, then look at the national level race, and allocate to the highest rank that can possibly win.
My entire comment was addressing that assumption. That assumption requires 2 levels of RCV, state vote and national (electoral) vote.
If RCV was implemented only at the state level, and the state chose Bernie, and that was the end of it, then it would pull electoral votes away from Biden.
If the electoral vote was also allowed to shift after the national electoral total was determined, then it’s all good.
I am extremely in favor of RCV as long as it applies to the national level.
It CANNOT end at the state level. If my electoral vote has a chance of being wasted on a 3rd party candidate that has no chance, then the system is EVEN WORSE than our current system.
As an example, if there was a chance that Trump could win because a few electoral votes went to Bernie, I would just put Biden as my first vote. But if the electoral vote would also shift to the next available candidate, then I would vote Bernie first.
“Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”
I think the cold legitimately threw him off. Not that he was feeble from the cold. Just that it made him more easily flustered and he snowballed.
I’ve also had interviews that I was “prepared for.” But trying to remember all the information at the moment was difficult. Hell, I was told one of my interviews was the best they had ever seen, and the last question had me flustered until I finally came up with my talking points after a minute.
That’s what it felt like to me, a flustered man in a bad interview that snowballed.
Anyone else is a popular choice. Everyone loves anyone else. That is, until you name anyone else.
