He made 45k. I hope this gofundme is real bc it’s almost at 200k
Pratchett talks about this in “Moving Pictures”. He has many insights, 100% would recommend. GNU sir Terry
I think there’s a difference in average maturity between US teenagers and European teenagers. I moved to the states when I was 20 and was shocked about how childish some of my new peers seemed. And I remember also being completely surprised I couldn’t even lift my dad’s case of beer into his trunk (he’s a wheelchair user). The cashier flipped out when I picked it up.
€2k uni fees? I paid that per semester, at a community college…where my husband is a professor and I got a 75% discount…and I’m in state (because for some reason that makes a difference)
No, but is says: “if buying isn’t owning then piracy isn’t stealing.”
Oh, wish I read this before I posted. Lol. 100% agree. He’s a groomer.

Rose and his wife Chelsea (née Doss) married in January 2011.[30] At the time, he was 45 and she was 21. He met her when she was 17.[31] They live in Cookeville, Tennessee, with their two sons. [6]
Doesn’t say when they started dating.
I will agree that it’s case by case, but if he started grooming her at 17 it’s grooming.
Grooming doesn’t always relate to age or age gap either. If a man is a teacher or leader at church camp or something, some position of authority it can go beyond the age of consent and still be considered grooming.
Yup. Its amazing how quick and efficient the government is when rich peoples interests are involved
Some info that I found important that isn’t in this article but is in the Wiki:
He spent 18 months in hospital, before going home. He was paralyzed from the neck down. His parents rented a portable generator and a truck to bring him and his iron lung home. Beginning in 1954, with help from the March of Dimes and a physical therapist named Mrs. Sullivan, Alexander taught himself glossopharyngeal breathing which allowed him to leave the iron lung for gradually increasing periods of time.
Alexander died from a COVID-19 infection on March 11, 2024, at the age of 78. He was one of the last two people still using the technology, alongside Martha Lillard, who first entered an iron lung in 1953.

(I haven’t brought over the sources, they can be found on the Wiki link)
Yes, exactly. If those silly poor people only worked harder they too could be aristocracy.
