Doesn’t matter if you have zero charisma and really bad PR. Obama and FDR were popular because they have both.

The Supreme Court must be impartial regardless of legislative and executive political mudslinging of the time. That’s the whole point of different branches of government.
If SCOTUS made the decision after seeing Trump and Biden debate, or knowing Republicans will control both houses, then they aren’t doing their job as they should. There’s a reason why juries are encouraged not to watch TV or media that would cloud their decision, and the same should apply to judges.
People forget the bloody whole point of checks and balance!
On the one hand, others pointed out that it could also be an acquired trait from watching streamers censoring themselves to prevent de-monitisation. Though I admit that I’m a millennial who grew up in a very profane Internet environment and people didn’t take things too seriously, unlike today. So there could be generational differences going on.
We getting old, fam!
Also I hate this trend of censoring fucking profanity.
No offense, but it’s cos of Americans.

Books discussing about the horrors of the Holocaust is “adult”, I guess.
Lmao
This is just too good (or too bad depending on who you ask) to be true. I know they are conservative grifters, but I would believe the claim about Boebert and I doubt the rest.
You may be right. We just saw how Russia performed in the war in Ukraine despite the prior years of flexing lol. It’s not impossible to believe that the North Korean military is the same.
Lemmy has the least shills and bots
Because it’s not popular yet. Wait until it becomes so and the inevitable enshittification happens.
A free trip for defection for North Koreans!

Let me tell you, Western women put make up much lighter than East Asian women.
It’s just UAE, not Middle East.
Arguably, the 90s had been the most peaceful (with the exception of few conflicts) and most prosperous decade. The world was just coming out from the spectre of the cold war as a result of collapse of communism, and globalisation is ramping up with many countries signing free trade agreements. But if you ask me, the 00s is arguably more peaceful and more prosperous decade than the 90s, because there were fewer conflicts and we’re enjoying the full peak economic prosperity of globalisation and free trade. However, globalisation is mismanaged and we were living in borrowed time during the era as deregulation of free trade led us to the Great Recession. And now we’re in downward spiral since with economic austerity having been applied; more conflicts spewing again; and nativist counterculture is trying to reverse globalisation.

Ignore the us vs them narrative that tend to dominate the news on migration and look at the bigger picture:
MIGRATION WILL ONLY GET WORSE WITH HUMAN-INDUCED CLIMATE CHANGE
Governments and pharmas don’t intentionally create new diseases to make money.
Religion is a powerful bitch.
Maybe because I grew up multicultural, so I rarely find any strange names, well, strange.
