“They have two of the things? Why would you need two?”
“They have two of the things? Why would you need two?”
I’m not disagreeing with you: both wars are/were unjustified. I’m speaking more to the difference in intent that’s on display. Nobody in the US ever intended to drive all the Iraqi people out, move white Americans in and make it the 51st state. That kind of ethnic cleansing is clearly Israel’s intent with Gaza, and seemingly with Lebanon.
All the same, I would think there was less a feeling of “we/they are over there to expand our territory and drive the residents out with unbearable bloodshed.”
I was a teenager and not following the news when the US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. Did it feel this shitty?
This is what “sanewashing” refers to, if anyone was unclear on that.
Because in anime, nothing is impossible as long as you have the power of friendship?
If they wanted to convince me those grips are impossible, they shouldn’t have demonstrated it with an anime character.
Well at least the other shapes will be able to go in to pull him out.
Plus, no summer day is brighter than a clear winter day with snow on the ground.
The fuck you talking about?
Why isn’t Michael Bloomberg on here? He’s worth more than all these combined.
I watched this clip (the token liberal Jessica Tarlov schooled the rest of them) and he was pretty clearly joking. Fuck Jesse Watters, but this ain’t it.
Imagine, in the year of our lord 2024, not recognizing the noble whale shark as the peak of sharkitude.
Does anyone else think hammerhead sharks have been… maybe a little too quiet?
In hindsight, there may have been signs…
Maybe that’s been the joke for centuries. The rapture happened but nobody made the cut. Seems consistent with the Bible.
I’m wondering, now… Does Gimli say the word “Legolas” even once in the movies?
Seems like we’ve reached the point where most voters realize that virtually all government shutdowns have been the Republicans’ fault.
Cue republicans immediately trying to shift the discussion to how inappropriate it is to do literally anything at all relating to Donald Trump’s many indictments while the election is this close at hand, because as the republican candidate for president he should be above the law. You know, in the name of fairness.
