It was certainly odd to do that as the first episode of the new season but that episode was anything but “filler”; it added in a ton of the missing pieces the show hadn’t gone over yet. I get the format and not many conversations was odd but the episode flew by for me and was cool to finally meet his actual mentor and not just Joel McHale

A24 keeps releasing movies just like EEAAO, just suffering from this problem where you may not be hearing of them or seeing the trailers. I have an Alamo Drafthouse near me and have seen 9 movies in theaters this year, including rereleases and only 1 I haven’t enjoyed, dune was the only “remake” or adaptation.

He’s done with Yellowstone and I believe even has litigation open against the show runner who is running the show into the ground. Last year Costner reached out to ask Sheridan about the script for S5 part 2 because he won’t have time for Yellowstone once Horizon stuff starts and Sheridan didn’t have anything ready so now they’re killing Costner’s character off and he opened litigation that he shouldn’t be because Sheridan is mismanaging the show.

I would toss Pacific Rim on there, I love that film and the colors and action and set pieces look great in 4K HDR and Del Toro engineered a lot of the film to express what the character is feeling or thinking based on the lighting and colors/saturation.

Read through this a couple days ago but now going through my server to check, is the setting ‘List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth’? Because I’m on the latest linuxserver docker image and still have that setting in the server network settings.

I have an all Ubiquiti setup and only use local accounts for everything. UDM Pro, 2 8 port switches and 2 APs, U6Mesh and another older AP. One of my accounts had me turn on MFA but every device still let’s me use a local account with a password and ssh key. Do you know what devices are forcing that?

My work environments use Prometheus and node-exporter and grafana. At home I use telegraf, influxdb and grafana (and Prometheus for other app specific metrics) but the biggest reason I went with telegraf and influxdb at home is because Prometheus scrapes data from the configured clients (pull), while telegraf sends the data on the configured interval to influxdb (push) and starting my homelab adventure I had 2 VMS in the cloud and 2 pis at home and having telegraf sending the data in to my pis rather than going out and scraping made it a lot easier for that remote setup. I had influxdb setup behind a reverse proxy and auth so telegraf was sending data over TLS and needed to authenticate to just the single endpoint. That is the major difference to me, but there are also subsets of other exporters and plugins and stuff to tailor data for each one depending on what you want.
