Yeah don’t worry, you’ll mostly be copying and pasting stuff from the Internet. Not much mental exercise, just follow instructions.
The Arch Wiki is an amazing resource, It contains tons of useful info that isn’t specific to only ArchLinux.

Yeah It’s more reliable in that way.
Still, I wish there was a something like a simple flag for the package manager so I could control if user data gets preserved.
I’m a bit surprised that that isn’t a feature.
(In Windows) If you uninstall a program using the “uninstall.exe” provided, you can tick an option to wipe all the data.
This is also available from the Control Panel’s “Uninstall programs” page. The “uninstall” button usually launches the “uninstall.exe” provided by the app’s devs.
I’ve never had this issue on Windows before
Thanks. I wish there was a more straightforward process though.
Every other OS I’ve used purges all app data after uninstalling, why is Linux different?

Maybe someday when I can afford a better device.
I have played Blood too, as well as its Cryptic Passage expansion. Haven’t played Duke Nukem or Shadow Warrior though, maybe someday.
Death Wish? Thanks, I’d never heard of it! I will definetly check it out!
A significant number of comments have mentioned Rimworld, guess I’ll install it. Thanks for your recommendations!
I have played the absolute shit out of Doom as well, basically all the official WADs, Master Levels, Sigil, you name it. I have tried myhouse.wad, but i was too big of a dum-dum to reach any of the secrets so I just quit and watched some youtube videos on it.

Fallout NV is fucking amazing, holds a really special place in my heart. Skyrim’s great too.
I’ve Played both Fallouts and loved them! I will remember to try out Mafia, It looks similar to the old GTA games at a glance. Thanks!
I’m seeing Rimworld and Factorio in a lot of the comments here. I have played Factorio already, great game. Guess I’ll try Rimworld now.
