Everything around sports is made to make you loyal to the team and be emotionally attached to the results.
I mean people cry over movies and tv shows. The line between fact and fiction, real and not real, important and inconsequential is pretty blurry in our minds.
this is a shit post
Well digital art did not, but photography surely did. And eventually it was for the better for everybody.
yeah that’s why we need to make it open
Sure, keep wasting your time buddy
Well, have you considered that I don’t need to write stupid long overly polite emails myself anymore?
I agree with the be happy to be alone advice. That part is very important. However, a practical thing you can do, which you probably already know is hitting the gym.
It serves two purposes
The second one is the more important one, but it can’t be attained without the first. You gain immense confidence by seeing yourself in a new light, as somebody that you yourself think is attractive. Going to the gym is also doable for most people, and while it is hard work it’s not difficult.
Ten years ago I started going to the gym. I gained a lot of confidence. I stopped going after a few years, but the fact that I know I can boost my attractiveness and confidence if I put in the work still makes me a happier, more confident person.
As a bisexual guy, this is not at all my experience with non-straight men. They seem to be mostly cool and well socialized.
What keeps from doing that right now? You can just create an instance and bot accounts on that
As mentioned above: if the crust is not delicious you’re eating a bad pizza
I foresee YouTube going to a cable-TV-like subscription only model in the future
Time to self host videos again, would be kinda cool. And a lot cheaper than 20 years ago.
Both of these claims are kinda misguided. The brain is able to detect very short flashes of light (say, 1 thousandth of a second), and other major changes in light perception. Especially an increase in light will be registered near instantly. However, since it doesn’t have a set frame rate, more minor changes in the light perception (say, 100 fps) are not going to be registered. And the brain does try to actively correct discontinuities, that’s why even 12 fps animation feels like movement, although a bit choppy.
