Those are all payment processors generally in Europe (Eastern Europe) which are most likely the easiest that tie to their bank. Trying to use PayPal with foreign (to the US) bank accounts can be much harder to set up.

Democrats aren’t pussies. Democrats are another arm of the ruling class (aka the 0.1%). There’s a reason they act inept on these things. It makes for good theater which people eat up, but it’s all for the rich. That’s the biggest reason they’ve been remiss to move to the left. It’s really not that different than a PC just with a slightly tighter cycle. When you upgraded from Windows 7 to 10, some games lost support too. It’s just that PCs have a much longer compatibility window than phones do.
