Even if one gets bored of the game itself, there’s a practically infinite number of mods and community content out there. New game modes like skyblock, mods that turn it into an RPG with magic systems, mods that make it an in-depth factory building game, mods that take you to new realms and thousands of items to discover… There’s a lot to enjoy.
Adventure maps are also fairly underrated. There are tons of community-made maps that can turn it into a different game. Notably, there was a huge Hogwarts campaign with quests and spells that turns it into a harry potter game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKcsoE5X4fc
No, sadly. You can share it with friends via family sharing though.
$100 worth of gold. Now I can sell it at any time to get the money back.
Is the first Rolling Sparks change just removing that bug where you free aim it at the ground to cause it to deal all it’s damage at once?
Yup. They also apparently nerfed how it works, so even aiming in a straight line won’t deal much damage to large enemies.
It’ll be delisted but should still be downloadable to anyone who owns it IIRC
FOR ROCK AND STONE
I never knew that, thanks for sharing! Also, username checks out.
Tea. Partially because it tastes better, but also partially because I have a low tolerance to caffeine. Drinking coffee just makes me feel jittery and shaky, not focused.
I really enjoyed this one. It’s a bite-sized Metroidvania that isn’t super special, but it has some fun gimmicks and doesn’t overstay its welcome.
The greatest tower defense game ever made, really. It’s seriously impressive how it appeals to very casual users and the most extreme fans that want a challenge. I also really respect that, while the game has some mictrotransactions, you can’t use any of them on the hardest difficulty.
I’m still missing AI and Metaverse on mine
People said the same thing when the original Vision Pro came out. Aside from some rich people flexing that they own one, I haven’t heard anything about it after one week of release.
Apple will reportedly ditch the outside screen to make it more affordable for interested buyers, and instead of the $3,500 price, it would set it at around $1,500 to $2,000.
That’s still way too expensive for what it offers.
I use Heroic Launcher, it supports GOG and the Epic Store, but adding DRM-free games to it is also as easy as Lutris.
I understand that with wine/proton prefixes they should be installed to a “fake c:/ windows hierarchy” can I just compress that and copy to a different Linux machine?
Yup, your save games are in your wine prefix so feel free to back them up and just use them again. Note that the game itself isn’t necessarily in the prefix, you could have installed it elsewhere.
Does it save which proton version was used?
I don’t think so, but it shouldn’t matter. You can change versions any time and it’ll just update your prefix.
If I use something like Lutris or bottles can I import into them?
Yes, you can set the prefix path to that folder you copied and it should pick up where you left things.
That’s genuinely insane to me. I know Inside Out was popular, but I had no idea people were clamoring for a sequel.
Die Mart sounds really metal, I wonder what they sell there
Yeah the final boss is seriously overturned. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next patch nerfs that second phase, or at least makes it easier to see.
Thank you! Things do seem to work fine today.
Are they shocked though? It’s getting common for piracy sites to disappear or move to different domains, there are always alternatives
